Santiam Pedalfest
The Santiam Pedalfest is back again for this year... same month, same
place, same course. It'll be the best yet, so make sure you come on over to
Mill City on race day. There were 125 racers who participated in 2000,
including the South Salem High School MTB Racing Team. South came away with
the win for the Pedalfest High School Challenge. Congrats!
We've already picked the date, Sunday July 8th, 2001, and here's the place:
Kimmel Park, Mill City, Oregon. What else is there to know? It is part of
the 2001 Oregon Off-Road Series and one of only 2 races in the whole state
of Oregon, organized and run by high school students! This year's courses
will be the exact same course as last year's.
Important!
·The Pedalfest will be insured under the Oregon Bicycle Racing
Association's (OBRA) insurance policy, so NORBA licenses will not be honored.
