NOTE: Canceled until further notice due to high impact on the evening operation of the facility. EWEB Windpower Team will be deciding to change days or locations.

COURSE: A 0.5 mile closed course, pancake flat with some tight corners. Road surface varies from excellent to fair. This course is new for 2002 and is located on EWEB's riverfront property. This same course has been used for electric car races. (Course map – 92K jpg)

LOCATION: At EWEB 500 E 4th Ave. From I-5 take exit 194B towards Eugene, to I-105 West bound. Take the Coburg Rd Exit #2 towards downtown. Head South on Coburg Rd and cross the green bridge. Turn right onto E 3rd Ave. Turn left onto Mill, then down the hill to the parking lot of EWEB. (Map of the area)

SCORING: Women scored separately in the Cat 4/5 men's race. Points awarded as follows: First place 20; second 15; third 12; fourth 10; fifth 8; sixth 6; seventh 4; eighth 2. Accumulated points from the four-week series will go 15 deep and will count for OBRA Best all Around Rider criterium points.

PRIZES: Cash/merchandise prizes 3 deep for each field (women prized separately). Kids get participant ribbons. Cash/merchandise primes each week.

REGISTRATION & FEES: Registration opens at 5:30 and closes 10 minutes before the start of each race. $7.00 for Cats 1-5, women; $3.00 for juniors; No entry fee for kids race. Single Day OBRA License available on-site. A portion of the proceeds from the race will go towards the EWEB Energy Share program, which helps those in financial need to pay their utility bills.
