Tumalo Classic 7 mile lap system

COURSE: Tumalo classic 7 mile loop. Out Northwest of Bend, this lap system race offers low traffic on a rolling pavement road with 700 ft elevation gain each lap

DETAILS: The winner will be determined on a points system. For the finish, points will be awarded as follows. First (16pts), second (13pts), third (10pts), fourth (8pts), fifth (6pts), sixth (5pts), seventh (4pts), eighth (3pts), ninth (2pts), tenth (1pt).
KOM POINTS – PRO/1/2 – Category 3 – Masters 35+ ONLY: Pro/1/2 Hot spot points will be awarded three times on the end of each even lap(4,6,8); Cat 3 and Masters KOM points will be awarded twice at the end of each lap (3,6). KOM points will be added to riders overall point tally. Points go three deep (5, 3, 1).
FEES: $10 registration fee for juniors. $20 pre-registration for all other OBRA cyclists, ends 4/30/02. (Online registration is available through Active.com.) $25 registration after 4/30/02. Day of event OBRA licenses are available to non-OBRA members. USCF licenses are not required. Send pre-registration with Standard Athletes Release form to Brad Farnand, 63345 Pine Knoll Circle, Bend, OR 97701. Promoter reserves the right to combine or splits groups. ANSI approved helmets required.
DIRECTIONS: Go north out of Bend towards Sisters on Hwy 20, turn left on OBRiley in Tumalo after gravel pit. Travel 1 mile turn right before bridge crossing and then immediate left onto Johnson. Look for signs of race.
REGISTRATION: Opens 8am under the OBRA registration banner until 15 min. prior to start times
