Nicholas J. Jensen 27 July 1979 - 14 July 2000

Nick was an avid sportsman. He loved Cycling, Soccer, Snowboarding, Surfing, Rafting, Fly fishing, Wakeboarding, Wrestling, and Baseball. The passion with which he lived his life is an example to all and he will be missed by family and friends.

Touville State Park: Take exit 33 off I-5, drive east on Pine St, this road turns into Biddle. Turn left on Table Rock Rd. drive aprox 4 mi. Turn right into parking lot at Touville Park. Sign will be posted.

Tom Pearce Park: Take exit 55 off I-5, turn left at the first light onto Agnes, turn left at first 4-way stop onto Foothill Blvd, continue straight onto Pearce Park when road Ys. Follow Pearce Park Rd across railroad tracks into the park.

$1000 DESALVO CUSTOM FRAME
Local frame builder, Mike DeSalvo will build the custom frame of your dreams from Columbus Zona tubing. Tickets are $5 each or $20 for 5. The drawing will be held at the final race at Touville Park on Nov 22nd. You need not be present to win.

Prizes are for overall series points - based on accumulated points from each race, 10 for first, 9 for second, etc. All prizes are merchandise and are for overall placing in the series. Best 4 of 5 race results count for overall standing. Last race is mandatory.

WEEKLY RAFFLE There will be weekly raffles after each race. Tickets are $1 or 6 for $5. You do need to be present to win these raffle prizes. So come on out. Cyclocross is a great spectator sport too! Remember all proceeds benefit Josephine County Search and Rescue.

Cyclocross Clinic Bring your cyclocross or mountain bike to Cycle Analysis in Jacksonville, Saturday Oct 18th 10:00am and refine your skills. Whatever your level , we will be able to help. We will go over dismounts and remounts as well as other bike handling skills necessary for Cyclocross. Come spend the day learning from one of the best, Sean Doyle. The cost of the clinic is $5 for adults and free for 18 and under. The clinic will have you gliding over barriers in time for the first race held at Touville Park.

Get Muddy
This year's series will be held at two locations:
Touville Park in Medford and Tom Pearce Park along the Rogue River in Grants Pass. All courses offer challenging run-ups and technical dismounts. Come prepared for all the great fun and pain that Cyclocross in Southern Oregon has to offer.

General information and rules.
1. Held under OBRA permit. All OBRA Cyclocross rules are in force.
2. All competitors must ware approved helmets.
3. Some classes will be started together, but scored separately.
4. Registration opens at 8:30am on race day & closes 15 minutes before the start of each race.
5. All riders under 18 will need parents' or guardians' signature on a release form.
6. Early registration prior to race day is possible at Cycle Analysis, Sun-Sat 10-5.
7. No late fee for registration on race day.
8. All Checks payable to Nick Jensen Memorial Fund.
9. No refunds due to inclement weather, after all, this is cyclocross.
10. Mountain bikes are welcome as well as traditional cyclocross bikes.
