The 2003 Rose Pedal Twilight Criterium. Friday Evening, August 1st, 2003 $3,500 cash prize list (minimum $1,500 in cash primes). This second annual event kicks off the week-long Bridge Pedal cycling celebration, and is rapidly becoming one of the premier criterium races in the Pacific Northwest. In 2002, thousands of spectators lined the downtown course to watch this Friday evening race.
(If you are not a Cat. 2 or above male, or a Cat. 3 or above female- you can come and watch). Due to the technical nature of this course, there is a seventy-five (75) rider field limit per category. Directions: The Start/Finish line is directly in front of the Portland Art Museum on SW Park Ave. Parking is limited to downtown streets, so riding to the event is recommended if at all possible.
