Time to Ride
This is your chance to get together with friends from all over the northwest and beyond. Enjoy some of the most awesome singletrack you will ever ride while being guided and supported. We have put together a collection of awesome rides for the weekend to meet everyone's abilities. Then on Saturday night sit back and relax with your fellow riders and enjoy the local entertainment and food.
Friday Ride: For intermediate riders with an option to go big if you want. The ride will include one or both of the Larison trail loops for either a 21 or 36 mile ride. The ride will leave Green Waters park just East of Oakridge about 1 mile at 11:00am.
Saturday Rides: The Ultra, Recreation and Elementary
- The Ultra Westfir Chapter, 60-mile epic adventure, 40+ miles of singletrack trail, Elev 3500' gain & 7500' loss.
- Alpine Classic, 35-mile quest of Saddle Blanket & Alpine trails, home to CCP100, Elev 2500' gain & 5500' loss.
- The Alpine Jedi Ride, an 18-mile ride to the Sourgrass Mt. and through the Jedi and then down Alpine Trail.
- Afternoon Kids Ride, a fun out and back on fun wide trail along Salmon Creek (after the Alpine Classic finishes)
Sunday Rides:
- Hone up on your technical skills and get ready for a fun adventure down the Bunchgrass trail, with a combination of fast singletrack, un-rideable switchbacks and cliff side singletrack where you loose 100' in elevation in 100' of trail, this is a true test of ones skills. 20 miles of excellent riding from Bunchgrass Mt. down to Oakridge with an elevation gain of 2500' and loss of 6000'. This ride is only open to the intermediate rider and above.
- For the tame at heart, join the group going out for a casual group ride on Flat Creek and Aubery Mt. trails, while this ride has a couple short steep climbs you will be rewarded with some great singletrack and most excellent views.
Friday Night
- Registration and dinner party at The Trailhead Coffeehouse in Oakridge, 6:00-9:00pm. Located at 47434 Hwy 58, directly across from the Best Western.
Saturday
- Morning: Registration; breakfast and Coffee at Trailhead Coffeehouse, 6:30-8:30am.
- Directions Ride start and location; We will meet at the Red Covered Bridge in Westfir, approx. 4 miles from staging/camping area. From here we will have to carpool to the ride start area, we are planning to have some transportation but you may need to drive. We will supply a ride back the cars when done.
- The Ultra Westfir Chapter 8:30am, Alpine Classic 9:00am, Alpine Jedi 9:30am. Kids ride at start at 3:00pm from Staging/camping area.
- After the rides join us for dinner, on us of course, the Riders Ball, a fun raffle and tell your stories of the days fun and past adventures. Dinner starts 4:30pm, you can get food in Oakridge beforehand.
Sunday
Staging for both rides will be located at Ray's grocery, located on hwy 58 at the east end of town. Both rides start at 10:00am.
Camping
Camping and showers are free at the staging area about 10 minutes from Oakridge.

More information to follow, visit our web site (www.bicycleway.com) for most up to date information. Oakridge is about 45 minutes from I-5 just south of Eugene, OR. It is about 2.5 hours from the Bend area.
If you want to show up earlier in the week to ride contact us and we will hook you up with some weekly rides.
Ride information:
All trails will be minimally marked with ribbon, there will be maps available. All riders should be able to find a suitable pace between lead and sweep guides. Weather can vary this time of year from hot and dry to cold and rainy, BE PREPARED. There will be water available for all rides and snacks for The Ultra riders about half way through the ride. There are few bail-out options so be prepared to go the distance without the support if needed.
Fees: $15.00 postmarked before June 20th, $20.00 after. Make checks payable to Sweet Racing. The kid's ride is free and juniors (under 18) are $5.00 for all other rides. You need an OBRA license to ride, day license available at registration for $5.00. Helmets required at all times you are on your bike.
