Dates: A series on Saturdays in 2004–March 13, April 10, May 1, June 12, July 10, August 14 Course: A rolling 40K out and back time trial course. A few big rollers half a mile in length. Pavement is medium. Prizes: Awesome prizes to make you faster from Hammer Nutrition, Louis Garneau, Velowear, Deda and more! Grand Prize to series winners: Time Trial Framesets from CSK and Cannondale Directions: Parking and Registration at Philomath Middle School 2021 Chapel Drive, Philomath, OR. From I-5: Take exit OR-34. Travel west on OR-34 toward Corvallis. Turn Left onto Corvallis/Newport HWY/OR-34 BYP. Continue to follow. Stay straight to go onto SW Philomath Blvd/US-20. Turn left onto SW 53rd St. Turn right onto Plymouth Rd. Turn left onto Bellfountain Road. Turn right onto Chapel Drive. Turn right into Philomath Middle School. Race Categories: A Group Pro 1,2,3 B Group 4,5 C Group Women D Group Tandem* E Group Recumbent* Promoter reserves the right to combine or split groups. Race start time is 8:30am. Start order will be E/D/C/B/A. Masters Points will be tracked by OBRA-indicate on entry if you are racing Masters. Points System: Points will be accumulated over the series for overall prizes. First (16pts), second (13pts), third (10pts), fourth (8pts), fifth (6pts), sixth (5pts), seventh (4pts), eighth (3pts), ninth (2pts), tenth (1pt). After first month prizes will be awarded on cumulative series placings. Ties to be decided on fastest time that month. Grand Prize awarded on best 5 out of 6 finishes. *If there are more than 5 preregistrants, tandem and recumbent categories will be run without any prizes. Just points and recognition. (Preregistration is strongly encouraged. Registration opens at 7:00am and closes at 8:00 am.) Preregistration deadlines
Fees: $120 for six-month series. Prizes based on cumulative points. $20.00 per race if receive by Thursday before race date. $25.00 thereafter. Make checks payable to: Race Across Oregon. Visa, MC, AMEX Discover also accepted. OBRA: You'll need an OBRA license to ride. Licenses will be available at registration. Of course, helmets are required and the race is governed by OBRA rules. Volunteer: or provide a volunteer and earn a free entry into the next month's race. Lodging: Lodging is available in Corvallis. Camping is available at the Benton County Fairgrounds.
