Estacada Time Trial |
DISTANCE: Sunday April 17, 2005 – 10 miles for all categories Sunday April 24, 2005 – 10 miles for all categories (due to road conditions) Sunday May 1, 2005 – 10 miles for all categories (due to road conditions) CATEGORIES: Jr. Women 10-12, 13-14, 15-18; Jr. Men 10-12, 13-14, 15-18; Recumbent; Tandem; Sr. Men, Cat 4, Cat 5; Sr. Women, Women Cat 4; Masters Women 30-39, 40-49, 50+; Masters Men: 30-39, 40-49, 50+ REGISTRATION: Registration is open from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. Registration closes at 9:30. Check-in is open all day for you to check in, sign wavers, pay, get results or ask question. First rider off at 10:00. Pre-register strongly advised by sending standard OBRA release and $ to Ginger (address below) or at SignMeUp.com (ETT II, ETT III) Get your start time online and then just check in prior to your time. Pre-register deadline (registration must arrive) three days prior to race. COURSE: Out and back on highway 224 along the Clackamas River. The pavement is in good to excellent condition. Course rises less than 500 feet. See profile. All three time trials will be 10 miles due to the landslide. LOCATION: Promontory Park, East of Estacada at mile marker 31 on Highway 224 DIRECTIONS: From Portland take Hwy. 26 towards Mt. Hood. In Sandy turn South (right) on Hwy. 211. Turn left on Hwy. 224 and continue in the left lane through Estacada. 6.3 miles past Estacada turn right in to Promontory Park. OR From Hwy. 205 take the Estacada Exit and follow Hwy. 224 (about 45 minutes) to Promontory Park. ENTRY FEE: $12 Pre Registered or $15 day of race. (If you wish to race a second race on the same day it is only $10.) $5 for Juniors – PLEASE PREREGISTER. Package deal all three time trials for $30 if registered by mail before April 3, 2005.
