Location:
Traditional course in the heart of grass seed country in Linn County, near the town of Halsey. The course winds over a flat approximately 8 mile loop utilizing Oak Plain Dr., Dannen Rd., Powerline Rd., American Dr., and Creek Bend Dr. Surface conditions range from smooth to rough pavement, super-light tires are not recommended. We have a covered registration area thanks to Oak Park Farms, please respect their property.

If you pre-ride the course we recommend parking in Halsey and riding over to the course, we do not have permission to use the start/finish property outside of race day and there is not much open space along the course on which to park.

Directions:
From I-5 exit 216, proceed 2.3 miles W. on Hwy. 228 until you reach Hwy. 99E in Halsey. Turn N. on 99E and go 2 miles until you reach Oak Plain Dr., proceed W. on Oak Plain Dr. 1.5 miles to the Start/Finish area at the warehouse buildings. Driving distance from Portland is about 90 miles.

Fees:
Pre-registration is $17.00, postmarked by March 15, $20.00 day of race. $5.00 for Juniors. Second event $10.00.

  • Promoter reserves the right to combine or split groups
  • Approved helmets are required when riding
  • Piece of Cake is an OBRA (Oregon Bicycle Racing Association) event, USCF licenses not required/honored.
  • OBRA one-day license available for $5.00, annual license available for $20.00
  • All racers are required to read and sign the standard athletes release form
  • Supply a corner marshall and receive a free race entry, please set this up prior to race date.
