President's Day Cherry Pie Race February 18, 2001

A fund raiser for South Eugene High School Racing Team and in conjunction
with John Benanate's Regional Youth-Junior Development Camp.

Directions to the race.  Take I-5 north or south, exit 209 Harrisburg Just
west of I-5.
Park in Sherman Brothers Trucking parking lot.

The Course: Starts near I-5 heads west on Diamond Hill Road, Turns north onto
Gap Road.  Over Gap with a left turn (west) onto Lake Creek that becomes Twin
Butte Road, then a left onto Rowland with the finish line on Rowland. 21 mile
loop.

A mostly flat course with a couple miles of rollers on Gap Road.

Start Times and distances: Placing to 15 deep each field
Race registration closes 10 minutes before start time.
Juniors 18 and under 10:00 one lap (Age Graded)(21 miles)
Cat 1,2,3 start time 11:00 three laps (62 miles)
Masters cat 3,4,5 start time 11:15 2 laps (42 miles)
Women start time 11:30 2 laps (42 miles)
Cat 3,4,5 start time 11:45 two laps (42 miles)
OBRA BAR points race

Prizes: This is a fund raiser for the High School Team and they have been
getting Merchandise prizes. ( Second Flyer will come out with sponsors and
prize list estimate)

OBRA license required, available at race $15.00 annual $5.00 day $20.00 for
road and mountain.
Fee for the race is $15.00 checks made out to 2 Dog Racing

Food: Amy's Oregon Kettle Corn will be selling her low fat high carbohydrate
popcorn.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the Hungry Farmer Cafe at
the staging area.

16, 17, 18, and 19.
