Daily Race Schedule
9:00am 40 minutes Beginners
9:50am 45 minutes Category C, Cyldesdale
10:45am 45 minutes Masters Category C 35+
10 min break
11:45am 45 minutes Masters Category B 35+, Masters 50+ and Jrs
12:40pm 45 minutes Category B and Single Speed
1:30pm 15 min break with Kid Kross**
1:45pm 45 minutes Women: Cat B, Beginners, Masters 45+, Masters A, and Masters B, Jrs
2:40pm 60 minutes Category A Men, Masters Category A Men, Category A Women

** One lap only ** Kid Kross: A non-competitive event for those 12 and under.
Promoter reserves the right to combine categories

Categories
Category A = OBRA and/or USCF categories 1,2, NORBA Expert and anyone else who chooses to race at this level
Category B = OBRA and/or USCF category 3, NORBA Sport
Category C = OBRA and/or USCF categories 4&5, NORBA Beginner (Riders at this level may choose to race in a higher category.)
Beginner = Beginner
Masters = Age 35+ (unless otherwise noted) and ability graded as outlined above.
Promoter and/or officials reserve the right to change your category.

Prizes
Prizes will include cash and merchandise for all categories. Ribbons for all Kid Kross participants.

Double Cross Competition
Points will be given each day for the top 10 riders in each category. Points schedule - 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Winners for each category (all 18 of 'em!) will receive a Double Cross trophy.

Membership & Licenses
This is an OBRA event. OBRA membership required for all riders. Single race memberships are available for $5.00. Season OBRA memberships are available for $10.00

Registration
Registration opens at 7:30 am and runs until 15 minutes before each race. Pre-registration can be sent to Jeff Lorenzen, 1886 Belmont Drive, Hood River, OR, 97031. Make checks payable to Disco Velo. Save time by printing out a waiver from the OBRA website and completing it at home.

Fees
$22 for first event per day, $10.00 for a second event per day. Juniors - $10.00 for first event per day, $5.00 for a second event per day. Kid Kross is free (must sign waiver).

Directions
Saturday – Hood River Valley High School: From I-84 East or West take exit 62. From the top of the off ramp bear right onto Country Club Road and proceed for two miles, then left onto Belmont Drive for 1.3 miles. Belmont Drive becomes Indian Creek Road, continue for another .8 miles and high school is on your right (Indian Creek Golf Course on left).

Sunday – Hood River County Fairgrounds: From I-84 East or West take exit 64. Travel south on Highway 35 for 6.5 miles. Turn right into Odell. Stay on the Odell Highway for 1.5 miles, then turn left on Summit Drive. Fairgrounds are at the intersection of Summit Drive and Wy'East Road.

Notes
There is no water on the site of Saturday's race. Please be prepared with your own.
No alcohol at the High School.
Please do not ride on the athletic fields or running tracks at either venue.
Please use the darn Port-a-Potties, not the bushes.
Helmets required.

Family Information
Hood River is a wonderful community for families and late September is a perfect time for a visit. The weather will most likely be very pleasant and the trees will be turning to exquisite fall colors. Camping/Lodging
Camping is available at the Hood River County Fairgrounds. Price is $15 per night per rig for RV's and $10 for tents. Electric and water are available at the sites and a dump station is available on the grounds. Showers are also available at $.50 per shower. Everything is handicapped accessible.
