Kids On Track

Kids On Track is a summer camp experience held at the Alpenrose Velodrome. It is designed for 12 - 18 year boys and girls who would like to learn how to ride and race track bikes in a fun, safe environment. Track bikes have no brakes and only one gear which simplifies riding a bike for most kids. At the camp we strive to provide a fun atmosphere while learning to ride the steep banks of the Alpenrose Velodrome in a safe manner. Safety, bike handling, riding in a group, race tactics, and fitness will all be stressed at the camp. Sessions tend to fill up fast so be sure to sign up as early as possible. Alpenrose Velodrome's address is 6149 SW Shattuck, Portland, Oregon.

Session One: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 10:00 - 11:30 AM, June 19th - July 14th, 2006.

Session Two: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 10:00 - 11:30 AM, July 17th - August 11th, 2006.
