DIRECTIONS:
From I-5 take exit #306b west. The racetrack is located immediately west of the freeway.
REGISTRATION:
Registration area opens at 5:00 pm.
All Non-OBRA riders must purchase single-day membership for $5 or annual Membership for $15. Out of state racers waive single day fee. More information at www.obra.org or at the race. You can join OBRA at race. Registration is located at the start/finish area in the pit near the middle of the main grand stands.

May Series Dates: 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th
June series Dates: 2nd, 9th, 23rd, 30th (No racing on the 16th)
July Series Dates: 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th
August Series Dates: 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th
September Series Dates: 8th and 15th only

START TIMES:
Women: 6:30
Masters groups: 6:30-6:35 (staggered group starts)

Distances:
Note: Distances can vary from week to week depending on daylight/field sizes/weather conditions; they will be announced at staging or at registration.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Flat 1.9-mile loop, wide road with excellent pavement, closed to traffic. PIR is a great place to learn about bike racing and try out on a circuit that is closed to traffic. Plus you get to ride a bike on a car racetrack!

Categories/Schedule:
Categories are for Masters 30+ Category graded as follows: May and June - Cat 1,2,3 , Cat 4,5 and Masters 50+. July and August - Masters 30+ Cat 1,2,3 , Cat 3,4,5 and Masters 50+. In September we may run race as age graded or change categories somewhat. This information will be announced in August series.

Categories are open for all women. All abilities and ages welcomed and encouraged! Monthly series points will score Cat 1,2,3 , Cat 4,5 and Masters 35+ women separately. Please make note of your category on registration. Results for the night will be based on open women.

Bike Commuters Discount:
Bike commute to PIR on Monday Night and get $1.00 off your entry fee. In return I will donate $1.00 to the Bicycle Transportation Alliance (www.bta4bikes.org). Just tell me you bike commuted at registration and you will receive discount!

PRIZES:
Series prizes will be awarded at end of series (end of the month) for each category. Prizes (Gift Certificates) are NON TRANSFERABLE, and do expire. Prizes not claimed 2 months within winning them would be voided.
Gift Certificates are to Lakeside Bicycles, in form of 1st: $25, 2nd: $20, 3rd: $15. There will be occasional cash and gift certificate prizes per night as primes!

Season Pass Plan - Get a great deal on racing by purchasing a season pass for the series! The amazing price of $130 gets you a season pass. That means you get to race for approx. $7.00 a race! Quick registration, no card needed, just show up and sign up on registration sheets!
The rules for the pass:
-Season Passes are NON-TRANSFERABLE
-No Refunds will be given AFTER May 5th, 2003(the first race)

Team Season Pass Plan - Get your team together and get in on a great deal on a package of races. Quick registration and no card needed for your members. Just check into registration making note of your team and your set!

Passes can be purchased before the first race (highly recommended) by mail, online registration available at www.orbike.com (search "pir Monday"), by paypal.com (please contact before sending payments), or at first race on May 5th. You will get an email confirming your payment and season pass purchase.

Kids Fun Race Info:

Officially starting in June at 7pm-ish Monday Night PIR we will be running a non competitive, fun ride for all kids under 13 yrs. Event will be free and you just got to show up with Bike and helmet, ready to have fun!

Every kid that shows up will get a participant ribbon for riding.

We will set up cones and a course inside the race course near where we do registration. It will be supervised so kids wont near racers are on track. Please be careful crossing track to inside area. Parents help would be appreciated!

Schedule will be something like this, and it will be flexible:
Training wheels (2 or 3 - 5 yrs old) - 1 or 2 laps
5-8 yrs old - 2-3 laps
8-10 yrs old - 3-5 laps
10-13 yrs old 5-8 laps
